In a recent study, Prof. Rockstroh (Medical Clinic I, University Hospital Bonn), Dr. Monin (former University Hospital Bonn) and Prof. Heine (Medical Clinic III, University Hospital Bonn) took part in, we found that high-risk, immunodeficient patient benefit from a combination treatment in case of COVID-19 infection. Prolonged detection of SARS-CoV-2 could be prevented by using a combination of antiviral therapy in up to 86% of all cases.
