Prof. Schneider, Prof. Heine as well as the four first round Bonn-based ACS candidates attended the first nationwide meeting of the eight selected BMBF-funded ACS programs at the BMBF in Berlin as speakers of the Bonn Advanced Clinician Scientist (ACS) Program ACCENT.
We had the chance to discuss the chances, but also obstacles ACS have to overcome in their daily routine between working in the lab and clinical work and to create a stage for exchange for the ACS.
