The kick-off meeting for the new recipients of the Advanced Clinician Scientist Program „ACCENT“ (ACS) was a momentous occasion, bringing together a cohort of promising researchers who had recently secured this prestigious funding opportunity. This event marked the beginning of their journey into advanced clinical research, and it was an opportunity for these scholars to introduce themselves, share their research interests, and forge connections with fellow recipients.

With the support of the ACCENT grant, they will be well-equipped to make significant contributions to the advancement of medical science and healthcare. Prof. Dr. Anja Schneider as well as Prof. Dr. Annkristin Heine, both co-speakers of the ACCENT-program, are looking forward to foster a vibrant community of scholars dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and improving patient care.
