The Advanced Clinician Scientist Program Bonn (ACCENT) research programme awards additional 2.4 million euros from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF). With the additional funding, it has now been possible to purchase three state-of-the-art devices: a confocal microscope, a laser dissection microscope and a flow cytometer. Leading this application was Prof. Dr. Annkristin Heine, Prof. Dr. Anja Schneider and Prof. Dr. Dagmar Wachten.

With ACCENT, researching physicians are supported in expanding their own research focus and qualifying for leadership positions.
